I am a Millennial person living in New York City. When I was 11 (in the 90s!!!!), I started getting into websites, but I was one of those smart kids who can also be very dumb, so I didn't know what "copy-paste" meant and I learned HTML and CSS by physically writing code on paper with a pencil and typing it all back in again. This took a long time and I clogged up my family's fax line (what's the female version of "unc", Minecraft child!?) basically daily. Anyway, I haven't built a site in a long time, so please be nice! I'm doing my best. :)
For work, I am data analyst (& aspiring data scientist) working in the energy sector. I have a lot of hobbies, but here are a few recent ones: crochet, natural dyes, fiber spinning, composting, whale-watching, and video games. I am learning to mod with Paralives - check out my contributions on the Steam Workshop here.
What's coming up?
I have no idea! But I am exploring what I feel comfortable sharing on the internet. I would like to build a data science portfolio to show my skills for potential employers, but I would also like to add:
- Info about my forays into natural dyes
- A catalog of my fiber arts projects (crochet, knitting, embroidery, and sewing)
- Photos from whale-watching excursions and maybe some musings on whales because I love them
- Info on how to buy my zines, whenever I finally write some
